Music Centring offers Music and Imagery Therapy, Music Therapy with Children and Young People in Schools and Creative Family Therapy.
I have been practising as a Music Therapist for 10 years in Bristol since completing my Post Graduate Diploma in Music Therapy. My interest in Mental Health led me to develop Music Therapy with children, adults and families.
I am co-founder of Creativity Matters workshops with Art Therapist Kate Havord using Guided Imagery, Music and Art.
I am currently co founding ACT Association for Creative Therapists to offer preventative, early intervention work with infants, children, young people and their families or carers.
I am in the advanced stage of training in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music and am now practising as a Music and Imagery Therapist. I am therefore offering Music and Imagery sessions at a reduced rate at present.

I am a Graduate and Fellow of the London College of Music and have a Post Graduate Certificate of Education. I spent 19 years working as an educator in various capacities, teaching in Adult Education, Primary Schools and as a peripatetic music teacher.
I developed Music Therapy in the Bristol Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). I worked therapeutically with children individually, in groups and with their families. I worked for 8 years as a Creative Attachment Therapist (Music) with Adoptive and Foster families. I am a specialist in Trauma and Attachment based therapy.
I am currently doing Music Therapy in main stream Primary Schools.
I am a performing musician playing classical and jazz flute.
